Hale-Byrnes House (aka: Meeting Place of Washington’s Officers)

George Washington’s “General Staff Headquarters” on September 6, 1777. Here Generals Washington, Lafayette, Wayne, Maxwell, Sullivan, and Greene planned defense of Wilmington.
