Please be advised that the Delaware Freedom of Information Act (Delaware Code Title 29 chapter 100§10002 (l)) restricts the access of certain public records. Before one can view or request copies of these records, he/she must send a request in writing stating the need for these records to the attention of our State Archivist, Stephen M. Marz, Delaware Public Archives, 121 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. North, Dover, DE 19901. A notarized photocopy of a government issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license) must accompany the letter. You will then be notified about the availability of the records for which you have inquired.
