In 1906, a commission was established to provide uniform laws to regulate the catching and taking of fish in the Delaware River and Bay between the states of Delaware and New Jersey.

Commissioners appointed from the respective states, in joint meetings, have determined the dividing line between the Delaware River and the Delaware Bay, and have upon each of the shores of the two states where the dividing line extended intersects the same, provided for the erection of a monument to mark the line.

The governors of the states of Delaware and New Jersey can issue a commission to a person or persons, to arrest the inhabitants of either of the states for any violation of the rules and regulations of this Commission.

The governor of the state in question may at any time revoke any commission.
