PRIVATE EMPLOYMENT AGENCIES BOARD
Created August 1, 1978 as an advisory board to be appointed by the Director of the Division of Business and Occupational Regulation to meet every three months or when necessary to review complaints and discuss any matters pertaining to the private employment agency profession. The results and opinion found by the Advisory Board is to be forwarded to the Director for a decision or further action.
The Board is to be composed of five members, two members to be representatives of the private employment agency industry, two members to represent the public at large, and one member of private industry in the personnel field. The Director shall be an ex-officio member of this council. Each member of the Board shall hold office until the appointment of his successor. Appointments were for two year terms.1
In 1986 the Division of Business and Occupational Regulation was replaced by the Division of Professional Regulation.2
