See agency history RG 1227.4 and RG 1227.? for “Juvenile Court of Kent and Sussex Counties.” In 1961 the name of the Juvenile Court was changed to Family Court, although its functions and responsibilities remained the same.1 Legislation did not significantly change these functions and responsibilities until 1971 when the Family Courts of each county were combined into a state court, “The Family Court of the State of Delaware.”2
