All aboard for the Delaware Public Archives’ newest exhibit!
For more than a century, railroads transformed Delaware—connecting communities, carrying people and goods, opening new markets for farmers, fueling industry, and changing the fortunes of towns across the state.
Tracks, Towns, and Transformation explores how the arrival and expansion of the railroad reshaped Delaware’s landscape, economy, communities, and everyday life through historic records, maps, photographs, and more from the collections of the Delaware Public Archives.
Join us for the exhibit opening on Thursday, September 10, and discover how the railroad helped put Delaware on a new track. This is free and open to the public.
