Learn about Delaware’s role in the Revolution in our brand-new board game! Players move their game pieces along the colorful path by drawing Action and Chance Cards, with Chance Cards featuring actual documents from the Archives tied to a simple move.

Blue Hens & Bugbears: Dawn of Revolution

from the Delaware Historical Society
Join us for an adventure across Delaware, where you’re given a seemingly simple task: deliver goods to Chestertown, Maryland. But will you make it? Will the bugbears stop you? And who are you siding with in this impending war?
This is a TTRPG that uses a simplified version of DND 5e, with character sheets designed to be filled out quickly.

First State Heritage Park

will be bringing traditional 18th-century games that kids and adults alike would have enjoyed during the time of the Revolution. Games include Shut the Box, a common tavern game, ring toss, 9 pins, and more!
