Join the Delaware Public Archives for its first Night at the Archives, an overnight educational experience for children ages 5–12 and their adult chaperones.
Families will explore Delaware history through games, a scavenger hunt, crafts, an educational film, a flashlight tour, and a bedtime story—all inside the Delaware Public Archives.
Programming will take place only in designated public spaces. Collections storage areas and staff workspaces will remain closed unless participants are accompanied by Archives staff.

Children ages 5–12 accompanied by a registered adult chaperone.
Each registration must include one adult chaperone (age 21 or older) and may include up to four children. The registered chaperone is responsible for supervising the children listed on their registration, including their conduct, medications, and medical needs, throughout the event.

To make everyone’s Night at the Archives safe and enjoyable, guests must follow these rules:

The event is currently full. By completing this registration, you are joining the waitlist.
If a confirmed registration is canceled, waitlisted participants will be offered available spaces in the order their registrations are received.
If a space becomes available, we will contact you using the email address and phone number provided during registration. You will have 48 hours to accept the available spot before it is offered to the next group on the waitlist.
Submitting a waitlist registration does not guarantee admission to the event. If a space does not become available, we will notify you after registration closes on August 21, 2026.
