Research Room Hours and Availability Update

Attention: Beginning on April 3rd, the Research Room will be open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Researchers who wish to perform research on-site may make an appointment by calling (302) 744-5000 or emailing archives@delaware.gov.

Appointments are strongly encouraged.
Benefits include:

  • an interview with an archivist to pin point exact collections that may assist in your research, a reserved workspace,
  • a guarantee for a microfilm reader,
  • and most importantly an assurance that any records you want pulled in advanced will be waiting for you upon your arrival to maximize research time.

Visitors may also walk-in without an appointment.
