by Marjorie Ramsey, DPA summer intern and Katie Hall, reference archivist
The Delaware Public Archives is pleased to announce the addition of over 100 new books to the reference collection. These books were cataloged by Marjorie Ramsey, DPA Summer Intern and graduate student in Kent State University’s Library and Information Science program, and are available in the Mabel Lloyd Ridgely Research Room during regular business hours.
Some highlights from these recent additions include:
Other book topics include Mayflower families, the Great Migration, German genealogy, and the duPont family’s genealogy and legacy.
If it’s been awhile since you’ve wandered through our stacks of reference books, make time to stop by and see what else is new! Although these books can’t be checked out, we have plenty of room where you can read in quiet, air conditioned comfort. Don’t forget that you can also search our book collection online through the Delaware Library Catalog anytime.
When scheduling your time to stop by and see the new books, please remember that the Research Room will be closed on Saturday, August 8 and Saturday, September 12. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing you soon!
