As the official guardian of Delaware’s state, county, and local government records, the Delaware Public Archives stores millions of records that reveal the cultural, social, and political history of our state and our nation. While these fourth/fifth grade lesson plans are posted here for the Delaware education community, please be aware that the lessons have not been changed into the Delaware Recommended Curriculum format and the primary sources that complement these lessons only exist in hardcopy form that were distributed to schools in the early 2000s.
The Delaware Public Archives wants to hear from you concerning this project. Please send along your ideas, suggestions, and comments. If you have some spare time, come visit us! If you are interested in bringing your class for a tour please contact me to make arrangements. We look forward to serving you in the future.
