DESCRIPTION:Established by the Nanticoke Indian Tribe in the 1920’s\, 
 Tribal members operated Indian Mission School\, a one-room school to e
 ducate Nanticoke students in grades 1-8\, through the 1961-1962 school
  year. After the Indian Mission School closed\, the building became th
 e Nanticoke Indian Tribal Center – the administrative and cultural cen
