The Accessions Committee met on February 11, 2025, to review all proposed accessions received since the last quarterly meeting. All accepted donations have been pre-processed and assigned to archivists for further processing. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at the latest additions to our holdings.
New collections created:
Small Manuscript Collections, Bonnie Bagget Collection (9200-B34)
This collection consists of records created and collected by Bonnie Baggett, such as booklets, correspondence, photographs documenting the Dover High School Class of 1956 reunions from 1963 through 2016, records from her work authoring A History in Flames, and more.
Small Manuscript Collections, Robert Voshell Collection (9200-V07)
A collection of records created and collected by former Senator Robert Voshell. It includes state and national political campaign buttons, documents and correspondence related to Voshell’s political career and time at the Department of Motor Vehicles, as well as pamphlets, programs, collector’s cards, and other records documenting two Delaware-born baseball players, Judy Johnson and Chris Short.
Small Manuscript Collections, Richard Rodney Cooch and Anne Bedford Cooch Doran Collection (9200-C29)
A collection of materials from the Cooch Family, including deeds, legal documents, correspondence, and genealogical records, that reflects Cooch Family activities over the years at Cooch’s Bridge.
Small Manuscript Collections, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonel John Haslet Chapter (9200-D35-001)
This collection contains three electronic files of meeting minutes from the Colonel John Haslet Chapter of the DAR from 1897 through 1970.
Town of Bowers Beach, Historical Records, Land Surveys (6000-001-001)
