DELAWARE CIVIL WAR CENTENNIAL COMMISSION

This scrapbook contains hundreds of newspaper clippings from 1961-1965. The articles, mostly from the Wilmington Morning-News and the Evening Journal, deal with all aspects of the Commission and the Centennial celebration, as well as columns, editorials, and articles on the War itself. The scrapbook includes many of the historical columns by W. Emerson Wilson, as well as the series of commemorative articles on major campaigns and events of the War.

Five boxes hold the administrative records of the Commission itself. These records include, but are not limited to, member correspondence, publications, Commission minutes, and background material.
